About me

Working as a sculptor I thrive on transforming raw materials into captivating works of art. There is nothing better than grabbing a block of clay and carefully shaping it into the idea contained within my mind. My journey as an artist began at a young age with pencil portraits of family members and various music artists this then evolved into a love of painting. I began painting acrylic canvases and as my skills improved my medium changed to oil paints which enabled me to take my work to the next level of artistic vision. It was only later, after a visit to a museum where I was able to witness first hand ancient greek and Egyptian sculptures, that I was truly captivated by the 3D form. I quickly discovered the power of shaping clay with my hands. Since then, I have continued to hone my skills, experimenting with various mediums and techniques to push the boundaries of my craft.

Artistic Vision:

My work is a reflection of my deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the human form, nature, and mythology. Through my art, I aim to evoke emotion, spark imagination, and inspire, inviting viewers to connect with the essence of my creations and leave a mark within the viewers mind.

Inspiration:

I draw inspiration from the rich tapestry of cultures, history, and the natural world. The human experience, with all its joys, sorrows, and complexities, serves as a boundless source of creative fuel, urging me to translate those narratives into physical forms.

Technique and Process:

Each sculpture I create is a meticulously crafted piece that demands dedication and patience. From my initial vision to the final touches, my process involves a delicate balance between precision and artistic intuition. I embrace both traditional and contemporary techniques, exploring the versatility of materials such as clay, metal, fiberglass and wood. Through a meticulous blend of sculpting, carving, molding, and casting, I hope to breath some life into my sculptures.

Artistic Philosophy:

I believe that art has the power to transcend language, culture, and time. It serves as a bridge between minds and hearts, fostering connections and igniting conversations. As a sculptor, I strive to create art that not only captivates visually but also leaves a lasting impression on those who engage with it. I aim to challenge perceptions, invite introspection, and evoke emotions through my work, creating a meaningful dialogue between the artwork and its audience.
